year round outdoor garden for raw cannabis juicing

With the increasing costs of electricity,  many patients cannot afford indoor growing or for that matter they can't grow where they live. Plus for many of us growing outside is very important.  Why put  a huge carbon foot print on this earth when it can be sun grown. Yes everyone would love to think that year round growing is possible everywhere. The answer is yes, and no. There are few places near our equator that allows for year round growing. Even here in California,I have met people who come  close to growing a full year of cannabis. The problem lies in the coldest and wettest months. But like I said it's still possible. With a homemade greenhouse and some special supplies year round growing is possible. However, you should first understand that the quantity of your harvest may not be as much as the summer season. But this year round gardening is for raw juicing purposes so it isn't the biggest concern. Having a year round supply is the important art here.
My best advice is start with a spring summer garden first if possible. This will give you a chance to start growing easily, where you will have an abundance of fresh leaves and then fresh buds for juicing. Then hopefully you love raw cannabis so much you will need to start thinking about extending your gardening season. I found many ideas for building your own inexpensive green houses on pinterest. And I've also recently learned from a cannabis patient that if you add hay to the inside of your green house you can increase the inside temperatures 20+ degrees. So for those people who are concerned about freezing their crops this will help.
Remember is you are starting from clones, you will need to give your babies some supplemental lighting even in your greenhouse. If you just put your plants outside when there isn't longer daylight hours, your plant will go right into budding, without getting very big. This might be just fine for juicing purposes. But remember that raw juicing takes a lot of material so one small plant could be totally used in one juice due to its size. Dr. Courtney suggest 20-30 big shade leaves or 2-3 raw buds (2-3 inches in length) per day. So it gets juiced up quickly. Therefore adding supplemental lighting (even just florescents for a few hours at night ca grow your cannabis up more.
Some ideas for those dedicated growers who cannot grow outside. You can set up a one light set up especially with an auto-flowering strain, then you can have a small indoor garden. If you watch the video here on this blog  on Dr. William Courtney he gives detailed instructions on a one light indoor set-up for raw cannabis juicing.
Best of luck to everyone willing to try growing a raw cannabis juicing garden.

Five things to consider about raw cannabis juicing!

1. A great juicer that can handle lots of green materials. A wheat grass juicer or a green leaf attachment is very helpful. Just remember, you soak the leaves and raw bud for 20-30 minutes, but it's still very fibrous.

2. A large supply of fresh green leaves and bud. I would say this is the biggest challenge. It's very difficult to grow or obtain enough raw product to maintain a juicing program.

3.The motivation! Raw cannabis juicing is great! And can be done daily. But the truth is it's a lot of work, even if we'll worth it.

4.Fresh,mold and pesticides free material. I cannot express enough the importance of clean and healthy products. Patients especially with compromise immune system s need to be sure the raw leaves and buds they use are safe.

5. The willingness to try! Sometimes people  look for cures and miracles to save them from poor health or illness.Raw cannabis provides vital nutrients, cannabinoids and vitamins.

HAPPY JUICING!!!
